Q: Which process should I use, 3D printing, vacuum lamination or CNC processing?

A:

3D printing is applied to parts with complex geometric shapes, suitable for rapid verification of design functions and small-batch customized production. The mechanical properties of 3D printing materials may not be as good as traditional processes and are not suitable for high-precision scenarios.

The vacuum casting is low-cost and is used for non-structural small and medium-sized parts. It is suitable for small-batch replication, the product recovery rate reaches 98%. Different colors and beautiful surface quality can be produced according to customer requirements.

CNC machining supports a variety of materials such as metal, plastic, and composite materials, it can directly obtain a smooth surface and reduce post-processing.But the cost is high, and the production speed is slower than 3D printing.

Q: What is the accuracy of sheet metal processing?

A:

The accuracy of sheet metal depends on the technology and equipment. In general, the laser cutting accuracy can reach ±0.1mm. The bending accuracy is usually ±0.2mm. The stamping accuracy depends on the mold, which is generally ±0.1mm.
